Regularly trim your dog's nails. If your dog’s nails reach just above the ground or are tapping when they walk, it’s time for a trim!
Always make sure your pet is on a leash when you are outside, unless you are in a safe and secure fenced in area.
Avoid giving puppies “people food”. It can offset their vitamin and mineral balances, and cause bone and teeth problems.
